Hawaii has low car insurance premiums

Insure.com published a research report ranking each state as to how expensive their auto insurance was and Hawaii came out as having relatively low insurance premiums.  Hawaii ranked #36 on the list out of all 50 states and the District of Columbia.  The study found that it was in the influence of state and other local laws that determine how expensive the insurance is. Louisiana came in as the most expensive state for insurance

The average car insurance premium in Hawaii is $1,306.97, based on a policy for a 40-year-old single male driving 12 miles to work that included $100,000 liability coverage.
