New French-Italian lunch restaurant opens in downtown Honolulu

We are always in the mood for a new restaurant, so we are excited about this opening even if it only serves lunch at this time.  But, we can hope for more.

Bruno Iezzi, a Honolulu restaurateur originally from Italy, has opened a lunch spot in the space formerly occupied by Jamba Juice on the street level of Central Pacific Bank’s downtown Honolulu branch at 1025 Alakea St.

Mix Cafe specializes in homemade desserts and sandwiches made of imported ingredients. There’s an Italian-French sandwich called the “Si Si Oui Oui” layered with cheeses and meats on French bread.
