Importances of great pictures when selling your home

One of my biggest pet peeves as a Realtor is seeing horrible or unflattering pictures when a property is advertised.  We Realtors actually have discussion sites posting the worst pictures that we can find.  I read this blog post from the WSJ and I just thought how great it is that someone discusses this.  The pictures of your properties are more important now than they ever have been.  It is truly just like a dating site.  You need to put your best face forward.  Part of this is good preparation between the agent and the owner in making sure the property is as clean, uncluttered, and beautiful as possible.  I have always helped my clients to do this when selling their home.  I want the house to put its best face on for everyone to see.

But another important, integral part is to take the step to get the best pictures out there.  Check out this article from the WSJ. All I can say is, Go the extra mile and be rewarded through a higher sales price or a faster sale.
