The next installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean, starring Johnny Depp, will be filmed on Kauai and Oahu. This reportedly bring $85 million in direct and indirect spending into the state. The filming will take place this Summer and there is talk that pot production work will in part be done in Honolulu. All of this is great news for our Hawaii economy.
