Asset management firm, Blackrock, buys 5% stake in HEI

Blackrock an asset management firm has purchased 5% of the outstanding shares in Hawaiian Electric Industries according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.  Blackrock now controls 4.6 million shares and is valued at $102.6 million as of close of trading on Friday
