4. Chinese investors – Recently a Chinese investment group purchased 2 lots to build a hotel and a condo. Construction is expected to start in December 2016. The hotel is expected to be a Fairmont Hotel. Once again, the introduction of another upscale hotel will make a tremendous difference in Ko Olina

5. Ko Olina itself – As I said before, if you have not been out here, you are missing out. Much work was put into place to design this area. First, 4 sandy beach coves were constructed. Yes, these are man made, but they are beautiful and gentle places to swim.  Then there is the golf course, the manicured grounds. Restaurants and shops abound and places for a drink and dinner on the beach. It is special and romantic.

Ko Olina is a unique place on Oahu. For people that really do not like the traffic and chaos in Waikiki and Honolulu have, this is the place to be. It is quiet and relaxing. This is everything that your tropical Hawaiian vacation ought to be. If you are considering buying a vacation home to really get away from it all, this may be the place.
