About Kailua homes

Kailua, located on the Windward side is one of the hotspots to be on Oahu. Lanikai – This is so well known, Lanikai has taken on as much importance as the town of Kailua. Lanikai is a small section of Kailua with mountains separating Lanikai from the rest of Kailua. Then on the long side, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii.  With one road in and one road out, Lanikai has become an exclusive neighborhood. There are mostly large lots with beach houses. Beachside – Beachside is just that beachside. It is a strip of land bordering along Kailua Beach. The homes here are generous sized lots. It is comprised of short little beach lanes. These are friendly micro-communities within the larger neighborhood of Kailua Beachside. Also, search for Kailua Beachfront homes.

Maunawili – Being closer to the mountains, this neighborhood has more rainfall and is therefore greener. While it is challenging to have an ocean view in this hilly neighborhood, There are stunning mountain and waterfall views.

Kailua Town – Mainly in the center of town is a small section of condos. With one highrise (Windward Passage) and several low rises including Poinciana Manor, Windward Cove, Windward Harbour, and Hokulani in Kailua. In addition, there is a new condo development called Ka Malanai @ Kailua.
