Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach is the newest condo going on sale Early 2013

As we told you some time ago, a new luxury condo hotel project is coming to Waikiki at 2121 Kuhio Avenue.  Ritz-Carlton will be managing the luxury hotel and sales are set to begin early in 2013.  Pricing for the 469 unit, 37 story tower is still being determined, but average price will be in the $650,000 range.  Floor plan size will be a minimum of 400 square feet to up over 3000 square feet interiors.  The project is very exciting.  The addition of the Trump Waikiki was the first luxury hotel to come to Waikiki in decades and it’s high occupancy rate demonstrates the real need for luxury hotels.  In addition, this is Ritz-Carlton’s first foray into the Oahu Tourism market.

The location is set right behind the newer high-end commercial shops at the Ewa end of Waikiki.  The Waikiki Residences will behind such shops as Chanel, Coach, and Tiffany.  The tower will have views out over this commercial development to Fort DeRussey and out to the ocean.

Luxury Waikiki Vacation home

Being a condotel project means that investors that wish use this as a vacation home and still have the benefit of the unit being properly maintained and managed with little hassle makes it an ideal purchase.  Owners will also be able to reside there year round if they wish.  The project will also have restaurants and featuring a “world renowned” sushi chef, a cafe, and a gourmet foods market.  These together with outstanding amenities that luxury owners have come to expect.

The development is being brought about by Pacrep LLC which was also involved in the Trump Waikiki project and they, together with their parent company S & P Destination Properties are very experienced in bring a quality condominium project to the market.  They plan construction to start towards the end of 2013 and completion will likely occur at the beginning of 2016.
