Kailua, located on the Windward side is one of the hotspots to be on Oahu. Lanikai – This is so well known, Lanikai has taken on as much importance as the town of Kailua. Lanikai is a small section of Kailua with mountains separating Lanikai from the rest of Kailua. Then on the long side, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii.  With one road in and one road out, Lanikai has become an exclusive neighborhood. There are mostly large lots with beach houses.
