The climate is mild year-round at the approximate 2,200 foot elevation, but there is a gas fireplace which can provide heat if needed during the winter. There is also an exterior stone carved bathtub and shower with available instant hot water outside the primary bedroom. There are large lawns on each side of the house with tiki torches and a pizza oven in the back. Between the house and the garage is a covered breezeway and there are large covered patios on the west side of the house. There are two parts to the property, with each one being about 8 acres. On the Calasa Road side is where all of the agriculture happens. The vast majority of the plantings are olive trees, which are mature and produce over 18 varieties of olives. Across the gulch on the Naalae Road side, lies the other 8 acres of this property. There is an existing 5/8” water meter which can irrigate the land on both sides of the gulch which may allow for a main home or CPR. The agriculture rate water bill has been approximately $200 a month. You’re on the waitlist for an additional water meter, number 537.
