This is one of the older homes on the ridge. In fact, I remember viewing it before these current owners purchased it and the transformation is outstanding! When I viewed this home recently, I was so impressed by what the current owners had done. They had completely gutted the entire home. Everything is new and the colors and materials picked out blend very well and create a surprisingly lovely and comfortable home. This would be wonderful for entertaining. So, now the bad parts. It is right on the corner of Puuikena and Lelekepue and there is virtually no walls or dense landscaping to offer a buffer. The home feels exposed and not private. There may be ways to help make it feel more private. Perhaps the most unpleasant parts of this are the street noise on the lanai (from Puuikena Drive) and that the master bedroom window looks out onto Puuikena Drive as well.
